Our Education Services

For over a decade NWFHA has provided comprehensive fair housing training throughout Eastern and Central Washington. Our clients have included landlords, management companies, housing authorities, real estate associations, attorneys, and government employees.

NWFHA is an approved Real Estate School by the Washington Department of Licensing to offer a 4 clock hour course for real estate agents: Fair Housing For Real Estate Professionals (#C6114). This course complies with the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) Chapter 308-124H-025(b)(5)(i).

*Fair Housing Basics, Fair Housing for Federally Funded Partners, and Fair Housing for Homeless Shelters , presented by HUD’s Office of Fair Housing & Equal Opportunity (FHEO) staff

*State Law for New Landlords, presented by Washington State Human Rights Commission (WSHRC)

Accommodations will be provided, to the maximum extent feasible, to meet the needs of non English speaking, deaf and hearing impaired, and visually impaired persons. The City of Spokane will make arrangements to provide an interpreter, a signer, or a reader upon request, if such a request is made at least 72 hours prior to the Fair Housing Conference. If you need additional accommodations, please call 625-6325 at least 72 hours in advance.

REGISTRATION FEE ($30.00) DUE BY APRIL 9, 2010
Registration fee includes: Clock hour credits for REALTORS®; three hours of breakout sessions from ex-perts on fair housing issues; handout materials; and lunch.
